Dollar, dollar bill y’all.

I was on my way to FedEx Kinkos to make 100 color copies of a Gospelrobics flyer after work today, the copies I was having made for work though. Confusing? Anyway, Hillary Clinton is apparently $18 Million in debt after her campaign. $18 MILLION!! So, tonight she held a fundraiser with Barack Obama to start filling up the piggy bank. The only problem now is that Mrs. Bill Clinton did something weird to this year’s presidential race, even after being now light years away. Here’s what she’s created:

1. Ex-Hillary supporters, now loyal Obama Fanboys, as if they’ve been that way since the anti-patriotic Muslim was sworn into office via the Qu’ran. (jk)

2. Team Hillary, super feminists and 135% positive their woMAN still has a chance to hang her pantsuits in the West Wing.

3. The “Vote Both” Crew who still fantasize about their “Dream Ticket.”

4. And lastly, the “Terrorists Prefer Obama” nut jobs – who’ve jumped from Ship Hillary to Aircraft Carrier McCain.

Along my afterwork-for work journey, little and innocent me so happened to stumble upon the entire heap! I’m a magnet to Cameras, Satellite Trucks, Reporters… anything TV news. So, when I passed 2 trucks and saw what appeared to be the front line armed with cameras, I had to check it out. Long story short (well shorter than what it can be), I waited around for Hil, watched her car sneak by the police barricade, and was able to snap a picture as she was calmly led into The Mayflower.

Many apologies for the bad pic, but that’s her… the black line next to the orange cone/blob. I didn’t pay enough attention in Digital Photography class. Damn shutter speed!

I am at a loss for words. Why did I have to stumble upon Celebrity Circus all on my own… was there not one person with the common courtesy to let me know that a bigger pile of shit than the Surreal Life or the Moment of Truth actually exists? I live for this stuff people! Peter Brady, trapezing while Wee Man does some jacked up stuff with Wee Lady. Dancing with the Stars, eat your heart out!

The weekend is already here! That means what was last weekend (my first visit to NYC to hang with the best band a guy could ask for) is now long gone. Getting into a bar and meeting She-man while swimming in a table full of Coke and Rum, pizza time at 4:00 am before sharing a twin matress, Phantom of the Opera, Times Square, missing the Staten Island Ferry, 5 HOUR ENERGY!!!!!, Empire State Building at night (or was that the Eiffel Tower?), making the Staten Island Ferry and seeing the Statue of Liberty, good NYC food, ART, the burnt fortune cookie scent that is China Town, and of course being 1/3 of 3/4 of the Janice Dickinsons for a weekend. All of the thanks for all of that goes to Reluctant Wunderkind! Gretchiepoospice_14 and myself had the most amazing show… one helluva reunion tour, we think!  Let’s plan another show soon!

This weekend may be just as good, though. The Chiefs are visiting… we’ll be going out for Mediterranean. Then Meg is visiting! We’ll be recreating National Treasure all weekend. I will be a tourist in the truest form!

Lastly, on a serious note, one of my very good friends lost his dad today. May your thoughts and prayers be with him and his family.

I hadn’t given the idea of entering the blogosphere a second thought. After arriving in DC, however, I’ve been hounded by my superiors on why blogging is the worst idea since the time MJ dangled Blanket over a balcony in Germany. The corporate world will find me… read about me… and then fire me! So, I figured it would probably be in my best interest to start one up. Here I am, a month into my DC experience and FiftyDollarBill is in circulation!

I need to do this. I’ve realized my memory is horrendous. At work, every Friday I have to turn in a “Friday Note,” a summary of my weekly deeds. As easy as it sounds, I cannot do it. That is the story of my life. When I make my return to the “Heart of it All,” I’ll have no “Memories… all alone in the moooooonlight.”

As I sit on my bed, desklessly writing away, the sound of my generic pop rock music is overshadowed by the neighbor. Techno. Non-stop. Through the night. When I get home from work. Techno. The same song. Over and over. Such a tease too. About 3 minutes in, the beat subsides… ending. Wrong. It’s back.

Or how about the time my roommates jumped on my bed attempting to get me to halfway acknowledge their existence. The problem, on top of the obvious, was that they were holding smoked salmon jerky in their hands straight from Canada’s Neighbor. Chunks of dehydrated fish left behind, which I batted onto the floor, not a big problem. Except for it was smeared on my pillow case and sheets… leaving me to fall asleep amidst an aura of beef jerky meets salmon meets feet meets sex couch meets jackass.

And an NYC encounter with She-man. Whom I met after being “old enough” to stay in the bar. And swimming in a table full of coke and rum.

This blog is meant to remember moments like those.

When I have an ounce of time and a 5 Hour Energy drink, I will give an update on life in DC so far. And also my first voyage into the Big Apple… where I was joined by 1 half of the JD’s for a kick-ass weeklong concert festival.
Until then, here’s what I have to look forward to:

Visit from pal from home, Mount Vernon, Rendez-vous with the Cheifs, and the 4th of July. Also, the new book I started and pro-bono projects.

My life is boring, rather unmemorable. Until now.
